It's cold, bitterly cold, that cold that navigates it's devious self to your bones, perfectly chilling you from the inside out. Snow was promised, flurry upon flurry until it settled and stacked itself high enough that you would need a shovel to exit your humble abodes. Winter is leaving with a vengeful chill, so Spring can come forward to embrace us in its warm glow. This is not only the change in seasons weather wise but also in the snowy mountains. Ski season has just arrived!

Ski season is not just a great excuse for a get-a-way (it's not as cold as you would think, plus you'll get a tan-Yes really?!!) but what better reason could you want to buy the latest designer Apres Ski lines? Over the years many fashion houses, fashion houses of the gods have brought out ski wear lines. Chanel is a classic brand, their ski wear wraps and cuddles (ever so chicly) round the bodies of all the elegant women swooshing down the mountains. Ashish was specifically a brand that brought a generous serving of fashion flirtation with a dollop of humour. From cleverly worded/punned slogan jumpers to leopard print salopettes and jacket ensembles. If you are going skiing/snowboarding and want to go purely for the fresh snow, exploration of the challenging runs or even a stint off piste then maybe going for a more specialised brand (Trespass, Roxy, O'neil, North Face, Saloman) would help rather than just being a label whore? Just throwing that idea out there.

Last year i took a week out of my easter break to visit the snow and slopes in Andorra (it's between France and Spain) Here are some of my memories... I think i need to go back, NOW.
