Riding The Wave With DVF

When you think summer you think: sun, sand, sea, tan and bikini but this year will be different. Yes you will think: sun, sand, sea, tan, Diane Von Furstenberg x Roxy bikini.
First there was Katie Grand for Hogan but now there is a new lust worthy collaboration hitting fashion with its full force, Diane Von Furstenberg for Roxy. The collection is full of Furstenberg's signature bold prints which compliment the whole ethos and identity of Roxy. This playful 34 piece collection balances the energy of DVF's colourful and classic aesthetics with Roxy's youthful surfer attitude flawlessly.

The DVF x Roxy campaigns depict the greatness of this collaborative effort of two masterful fashion powerhouses, one hight street, one high fashion. The campaigns equally evoke strong feelings and ties to both brands and could easily (without the brand labelling) be mistaken for one or the other; this is crucial when when two brands join together- albeit for a short time. The juxtaposing essences of the brands adds to the magnitude of this collaboration. The task of skilfully capturing two brand's identities and mixing it into a successful formula for a spring summer beach collection is most definitely challenging in itself.  However due to the exceptional pairing of two championing brands it is unquestionably cool. In the campaigns, that summer feeling just oozes from the images and into your bones, you can almost feel the fiery heat of the sun beating down on you. The recognisable Roxy styling breaths an air off cool into the campaign, which is full of strong DVF patterns.

If you cannot wait for the sun to emerge from behind those wintery clouds, take a sneaky look at the upcoming collection here at Roxy. Or if you want to be inspired by beach babes and the surfer chic collection from DVF x Roxy just press play, dude.
