Style Icon #3

Natalie Joos in ethereal lilacs.
When deciding who to feature in the next instalment of Style Icon, it was hard to pursue other and create some text about anyone else once Natalie Joos was on my radar. I don't want to waste much time fluffing up this post with poetic wording and beautifully constructed sentences and paragraphs; therefore this will be a short and direct post. Natalie Joos, Belgium born and adopted by The Big Apple, New York. Joos is founder of a casting company, a regular contributor to V and The Last Magazine and creator of her own fashion blogTales of Endearment.
Natalie Joos undertakes fashion in a way that is almost exclusive to herself, at least that is the way it appears. Joos personal aesthetic and style is a concept which i have seen many others in the fashion circles and not, try to undertake and make it a style individual to themselves. I have to yet find or observe someone who has this particular style and has made it look as fluent and natural or as cool (i hate to use that word!) as Natalie Joos. Joos' style has an imaginative and feminine body added to that is  a laid back and organic edge. This gives her style a quality that is essential to the individuality of her style, i believe it is this perfect exactitude of these factors and how much of each one is used in each outfit/ensemble is what makes Natalie Joos harmonious and eclectic style work.

I believe that Natalie Joos style is somewhat reminiscent of the styling which was applied to the notorious character of Carrie Bradshaw in the even more notorious series Sex & The City by the great Patricia Fields. It could even be reversed and that Joos was highly impacted by the character of Carrie Bradshaw possibly it is in fact the work of Patricia Fields as a stylist, that could of left an impression on Joos. Whether this is true or not, it may just be an observation of mine as far off or valid as one can be over something as subjective as this topic.
Can you see it too? Natalie Joos and Carrie Bradshaw styling similarities.
With feminine, edgy and busy stylistics Natalie Joos is a breathing life into the notion of Carrie Bradshaw as a real thing, putting the less polished more carefree style back into the centre of the fashion industry, re-inventing the art of personal style and inspiring legions of faithful fashion followers.
