A holiday tradition is that of novelty Christmas attire. Remembering back to my childhood this has always been a dominant fashion factor associated with Christmas. From Macaulay Culkin's jumper in 1990's treasure Home Alone to Colin Firth's reindeer jumper in 2001 christmas/ rom-com Bridget Jones' Diary...
Now let's talk shoes! Theres no escaping or denying the fact the Charlotte Olympia shoes are beautiful and are a lustful item for the modern, young, independent woman, so why in the this party season should you put anything other on your feet? Answer is, you should not be putting anything other on your feet. So if you agree that novelty jumpers have been churned out one to many seasons years and that however pretty and delightful the Charlotte Olympia bags are they may not be as show stopping as you would like then look no further than the collection of heels the brand has to offer. If your a single girl looking for a love or even just a saucy kiss under the mistletoe perhaps the Kiss Me Quick Dolly shoes will send out just the right message?! Or maybe your the person who would love to be the fashion envy of all the party goers; then why not make an entrance and have people hear you coming (Literally, they have bells on....bells!) in the Kiss Me Quick Dolly design. Finally I included my favourite pair of ballerina's from this collection, the Holly flats, whether your a leggy amazonian that doesn't need heels or just want a more casual look, these flats are the way to go.
So people, please do novelty the right way. Ignore the fad of Rudolph jumpers, even the ever increasing and more alarming/disturbing fashion of 3D jumpers, however if you do come into contact with one, that perhaps Granny knitted, just smile....
Novelty the Charlotte Olympia way is the RIGHT way.
I completely agree!! The worst offender of the novelty accessories are the felted Christmas earrings, or Rudolfs with pom pom noses and singing ties….modelled always by school teachers (this Is not including a very cool and trend savey mumma lyden!)
