Romeo, Cara + Edie in the Burberry S/S13 campaign. Image not my own. |
The biggest landmark of a child crossing the boundaries from innocent childhood to innocent
fashion since
Suri Cruise and
those clickety clackety heels. I am indeed talking about
Romeo Beckham a gorgeous blend of his respectively beautiful and talented parents, becoming a face for
Burberry during their
Spring/Summer season of
2013- whether he will stay on after this is yet to be clarified. Featuring in the
fashion campaign he certainly steals limelight from his undoubtedly stunning co-stars who are currently reigning supreme with in the
modelling industry.
Romeo Beckham injects youth into a
brand which has had many recent re-vamps to stay current and successful; if this was intentional it really works and if not the creatives at
Burberry should be thankful of how much new interest the
brand is gaining due to this
campaign. Not only does the middle
Beckham child insert youth, he also is breathing, punching and kicking fresh humour and fun into this
campaign, which i feel reflects the
brands motives for this decision for this particular season when placing this energetic, lively character against the
metallic trenches.
Watch the Burberry campaign here!
The metallic trenches which will without question be one of the
trends of the season and be an iconic part of
spring summer 2013's history. Upon first laying eyes on the
metallic trench i was unsure in whether it was an item that should be
loved or loathed.. After time i've decided it should be loved and embraced, breaking ideals of traditional '
normal' trenches or even what the normative
spring/ summer jacket should be.

A sea of soliders who fight in metallics for their homeland Burberry Image is not my own. |
It gets to that time of choosing sides, i take the side of the
lavender and
pale green trench- my heart is torn between the two, do you agree? Or are you an
ink, electric blue, dark claret or fuchsia type of girl. With a different trench of any type of occasion and any season i hope to be spotting them about
London this season.
FABULOUS!
